First meal since Saturday for our little girl

Nurse Eileen, she's our favorite
Finally!  Oh So Delicious!
Sophie's side profile, does she have an Asian nose?
Does anybody know Rudy from "Fat Albert"?

Theo showing us his "Blue Steel"

Laurent with Sophie a couple of days ago...

Gazing at Sophie without any tubes on her face on Monday.  At last we could see what she looks like!

Yay, Sophie got to eat this morning.  It was a small amount, so the nurse decided to give it to her by bottle.  It was her first bottle ever, nothing like starving a kid for almost a week to motivate her to try.  She seemed so happy afterwards.  I got to see her first smile!

Looks like Theo might be coming home early next week!

  1. Happy update! That's exciting that she got to use a bottle--deliciousness! I think Sophie and Maggie have the same nose--an Asian one, definitely---let's hope, at least, that the didn't get the European beak-nose. Asian noses are much better. Maggie told me yesterday that her car had little babies inside. How many babies, Maggie? Two babies! What are their names? Theo and Sophie. I think this is a high honor for you and the twins--to be CARS!

    1. I am extremely honored that we have infiltrated enough to be incorporated into her imaginary worlds. Thanksgiving is gonna be fun. :)
PS. Don't mind the French chicken below. Sometimes humor doesn't translate between languages so well.

    2. Tu l'as dit Kiki. Les traductions humoristiques, surtout pour un anglophone de mon acabit peuvent laisser à désirer, mais bon, on fait comme on peut.

  3. (Also, I have a European beak-nose, too. Was speaking in a general sense. Did not mean to insult Laurent's nose.)

    1. Caroline, i don't know you, but i'm French so European, my nose is not so beak and baby kids are usually a snub nose. We will see in the future.
      Is it really important ??
They are so pretty, that's enought
      For them i hope, they'll don't have Laurent's nature. ;-)

    2. haha poulet (that's 'chicken' by the way) is jumping into the racial profiling debate. I agree on one thing though. Let's hop they don't get too much from me! And maybe if their sense of smell is not too great they'll stick next to their dad for a bit longer!
