via ferrata

Last week Kristine and I took advantage of a short babies free moment to discover a via ferrata (literally an iron way) 30 min from my mom's place. This one is special as it takes place inside a canyon, right above the water. We had a great time!!!

First train ride and weekend in Tende

There's something about Sophie's feet in the car that make me smile.  I miss the mirrors that Jess gave us for the Prius.  We can't see what they're up to anymore during the drives.  But, we can HEAR them. Waiting at the station for our first train ride. Had to give y'all a photo of Theo's teeth!  Aren't they pretty?  Hahaha.  Sophie has ONE tooth as well.  For all her smiling and laughing lately, she's much stingier about showing it off though. This little girl steals my heart... There are those teeth again. Theo and Sophie start to play together.  Romping on the bed right before bedtime is a favorite activity.  The big bed is like a jumping gym for babies.  They love it, full of laughter.  Not the best winding down routine before sleeping.  We're working on changing that, but it's just too fun to give up easily. New outfits, days at the climbing cliff, and lots of just general hanging around

One of the lovely new outfits from the doting Cilia Girls.  This one is from Auntie Valerie -- dress, shoes, and cute matching underpants.  :)  Marilou is in the background...  Out on the terrace, watching Daddy do yardwork.  Found the most delicate little birdnest that morning.  Lovely morning at home one day  Another climbing picnic.  The Cilia Twins are crag babies.  A long day cragging is rewarded with a good warm sudsy bath.  One of Sophie's new favorite spots to work out is underneath the dining room table.
